Works but I despise using it every time. Only use it when I can't reach the remote fast.

The Nvidia Shield is the best streaming device. I've had at least half a dozen Rokus, a few Amazon Fire devices, and even relied on a few built-in streaming services for a time. The Shield beats them all. This app leaves a lot to be desired though. I used this app as a secondary remote for my device and it worked great until the app updated and now it refuses to connect and even causes my device to crash when it tries to connect. Its very frustrating.

I thought this would be a great alternative since my controller and remote no longer work. At first, it would never find my Shield. It started to work great for a couple weeks and now it freezes. I press buttons and nothing happens. Very slow reaction/response time.

NOW WORKS No longer connects after shield update, as per other reviews the Mac address is constantly changing, Bluetooth is also broadcasting multiple addresses per second, unable to connect via ip address. Total and utter mess have now had to purchase a remote. Totally unimpressed with this, seems Nvidia only care about planned obsolescence over long term customer care and app updates. Doubt anything will be done as the developer isn't responding.

The app use to work perfectly fine.... For some reason its broken af now. When trying to connect it sometimes refuses to connect when it does connect you are able to use ot for a couple of seconds when it disconnects and crashes the wifi and some other features on the shield whilst also causing the wifi connection on my phone to disconnect. Devs needs to look in to this please.

Everything about this app is great EXCEPT the major issue that it does not stay connected to the Shield for more than a few seconds at a time. As soon as you put your device down, it loses connection so pausing a show requires about 4 taps instead of one (open app, select Shield device, nav back to homescreen, open remote, then do whatever you intended to do). I'm using the app because my Shield remote stopped working, so this is all pretty annoying.
