This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Call Control for BroadWorks on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. This is a clever little app that can make your phone system work at your pace. I use this app to control calls on my business phone while I'm away from that phone on my wireless headset. The headset has no controls so this is perfect.

About this app

Call Control for BroadWorks (xsi) allows you to originate, transfer, merge and hold/resume calls from your Android phone through your BroadSoft BroadWorks powered desk phone and enables easy control of Remote Office, BroadWorks Anywhere, DND and Call Forwarding settings while on the move. If used with an account that is a member of a Call Center, joining/unjoining and control of the Agent ACD State is also possible.

IMPORTANT: Call Control for BroadWorks (xsi) requires service from a BroadWorks powered service provider and the account must include the following services
