For what it is, it's quite useful! I personally would really love if this app supported automatic photo/video uploading by itself, since the official Nextcloud app is really inconsistent and bad at it. As it currently stands, I need to use two gallery apps - this one for synced photos, and my phone's native one for photos that have not yet uploaded. I'd absolutely love it if this one app could act as both, which Google Photos did for me before I switched to Nextcloud.

I use LDAP auth for Nextcloud and it took me months to resolve a home folder issue. The text says you should paste your WebDav URL in manually but that failed, what the app wants is only the last part of your Webdav URL which is obsurd - at a minimum both should be accepted. Once I got in the app I can see it's kinda nice - except that I have thousands of pictures that it rescans daily in the background, unplugged chewing battery like crazy - unacceptable. There needs to be controls for that.

I really like this app. I'm slowly transitioning years of my Google photos/videos to Nextcloud and will eventually purchase the paid version. Just one thing I wished it had. It would be ealeir to at least see an image or possibly clips in a loop of your videos while you scroll. Similar to the other photo app. Right now you just see a blank box and not know what video I'm opening up.

Beautiful app that seems to work nicely. Will it get a folder view as well? I have categorized all my photo's in folders, which makes it easy to find the photo's I want to view. Currently I have to scroll through tens of thousands of photo's and try and get lucky to find the specific ones I need. The webUI has the feature to browse by folder, which is perfect. I was hoping the app would have the same functionality, that would make it an easy 5* app for me.

This app is amazing! I love it, essentially Google photos for NextCloud. I've just had two little gripes: 1. Photo based albums only let me select a couple of folders at the top level of my next cloud. Anything with nested folders or folders that are deep nested I can navigate to but not select. I was able to manually mod the json to get the target folder I want working, so I'm assuming it's a gui glitch. 2. I would love different sort options in photos view. Group by folder, group by date

I really like this app! But one big feature is missing. If and when that feature is implemented I will definitely move to the paid version. The feature that is missing is tagging. Being able to add tags to photos. When I take a photo I like to add tags at that moment. Makes it much easier to search for photos later on.
