Read back quality is good hence 2 stars. Once it starts reading you can't silence it by pressing volume or power buttons. Very annoying when you want it to quiet down and it won't. It announces name 3 times. There is no setting to limit that. I don't know why the app is rated so high.

I prefer to pay for apps without ads. I don't like how it repeats who the sender is 3 times, it should only do it once, or there should be a setting for that. Also, it announces messages (and the body if the setting is enabled) over the top of phone calls. That's not good. I have to ask the caller to repeat what they said. The default should be not to announce during calls if there is no setting for this. The app should also silence itself with a button push. There's no way to silence it mid sentence.

The reader reads the name 3 times! And every time you open the app, there are pop up ads. Deleting immediately!

SMS Reader is a helpful friend in need. It's useful, you don't need now to go every time to the phone to see if someone important text you and the SMS Reader will announce the name or number. Amazing app and it's easy to use.
