Les abdominaux font partie des différents muscles du corps, tous forment la sangle abdominale. Voici leur nom et leur positionnement :

Le traverse : il s’agit d’un muscle qui a pour rôle de stabiliser le tronc, il est le plus profond de l’ensemble des muscles qui composent la sangle abdominale.

Le grand droit : il se trouve dans la partie antérieure de l’abdomen et il est en forme de tablette de chocolat avec des petits carrés.

Le grand et petit oblique : ces derniers se trouvent sur le côté. Ils se repèrent facilement grâce à leur forme en V, Le petit oblique se situe sous le grand oblique. Ils aident à la rotation du tronc ainsi que la flexion latérale.

Le grand dentelé : il s’agit du muscle situé sur la paroi latérale du thorax, c’est lui qui maintient l’omoplate qui est collée au thorax. Certes, il ne fait pas partie des abdominaux, mais il joue un rôle esthétique, très important pour ceux qui modulent leur sangle abdominale. Il est reconnu par sa forme en dents de scie.

Ce sont donc ses muscles qu’il faut travailler afin d’obtenir les belles tablettes de chocolat que certains hommes (et femmes), adorent tant.
