Awful awful app that is extremely intrusive and fails to function meaningfully at the same time. Opens and puts itself front screen spontaneously, repeatedly requests permissions it doesn't need, and fails to collect much in of the data from the band. Has been terrible for a long time and is slowly getting even worse. Given its constant requests for internet access it shouldnt need, one can't help but think its only pripose might be to steal data from your phone to send to Xiaomi.

Google fit sync disconnects after a few days. No 2 way sync. Band notification settings are limited. Needed 3rd party app to turn off band notifications during sleep and had more settings. Workout tracking is par for the course. App sucks compared to others. Only saving grace is PAI, but this is not the only company that has that.

Dunno why they have to force to get permission to different things like location and storage and whatnot. I think they're clearly breaking some rules cause most apps have an option of deny and don't ask again. I would give it a single star if I didn't find it useful. I use it to track my sleep and use the alarms and timer. Other than that I have no use for it. Please stop the app from begging for permissions.

Quite interesting gadget. Lost my Band 5 because of a poor strap design. So for my new band 6 bought a different strap which is unlikely to allow it to fall off. I am Happy with my purchase. Fast delivery, works great. Accuracy will be the same as the 5 I hope. If you activate some of the new features battery life goes way down. Battery was 100%Sunday and 30% or less by Tuesday. Difficulty with MI Fit app to reconnect to band but that was probably my fault. Still a good product. Kudos to Pady D.

I installed the app for my Mi Fit Band 5 & it worked great...for less than 2 full days. I did everything to troubleshoot: reboot the Bluetooth, restart my phone, etc. I even have the newest update too. Eventually my phone could pair my band again. But this same thing has continued to happen over the last few days where supposedly the Bluetooth isn't connecting with the band & it can't find my phone. This inconsistency is disappointing.

If anything, too much information, especially when you have the smartband and the scales feeding in. Refreshingly simple to have it send its data that fits on to my long-term app Google Fit. Good advice on what I can do to be healthier. Recommend because it can only get better.
