I am now using a completely different device so the app is working for me again, but I can't access the male voice that I was using and the voice that comes with the app is embarrassing and annoying. Other than that I really like it. The drawing board is particularly useful for written communication.

I don't use anything else to communicate. So I just love it!

Setting up for a student. Ipad devices are to big. This is on a smartphone. Is there an iphone version? Love the simplicity of the app. Will try it out January 3 to see if student can use it in an arm workout case. I have high hopes.

I needed to buy a tablet and find free app for my Dad in nursing home. I can't fix him, but this app will definitely help.

About this app

People stricken with ALS, stroke, MS or similar diseases: regain your voice. Talk Now lets you use your Android phone or tablet to vocalize your needs. Select a phrase from a set of categories to have it spoken. Talk Now comes pre-loaded with common phrases and categories, or you can add your own. Talk Now can even play recorded messages and show images taken with the camera.

You can also use a built-in blackboard to draw words and pictures to aid in your communications.

For parents of young children, especially children who are having trouble vocalizing, Talk Now can be customized by adding picture buttons that speak words or phrases. Picture buttons can also make whatever sounds you want simply by recording your own voice. The drawing board turns the tablet into an old time magic slate for show and tell.

Suggestions for additional capabilities are always welcomed.
