About this app

This app wants to be an extremely minimalistic messenger using end-to-end-encryption.

It is based on https://github.com/McLP2/cmdline_messenger and made to be used with an appropreate server. You can find the instructions on github. The svrkey-file must be located in a directory called cmdchat. I should be created if you run the app. The storage permission is needed to do that and to read the srvkey.

New features

The app now automatically downloads a key from the server if it has none. Before using it, it ask to confirm the fingerprint.

Common fingerprints are now created in a different and much safer way, so you and your partners need to update and redo the comparison.

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
