This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Spam Alert on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Be one step ahead of potential spammers/scammers.

Spam Alert provides onscreen alert for incoming calls matching the numbers stored in our spammers list. Take the call if you wish or ignore it, which is what we would do most of the time.

For call from unknown number, Spam Alert provides notification that will allow you to easily assign the number as spammer. Color code spammer based on Nuisance factor so that you'll instantly know the ones you have to avoid like the plague.

In this initial release, our Spam Alert database is based on spam reports from users in Malaysia. Do stay tuned for our upcoming release as we plan to provide various exciting community-driven functions, giving all of you the chance to join us in taking the fight to the spammers :).
