This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Movius VVM on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. This is the Movius Visual Voice Mail (VVM) application. Many Movius service provider customers use a branded version of this application for their subscribers. This version carries Movius corporate branding for demonstrations and trial users.

This application is easily integrated to network-based Movius Voice messaging service. Registration is via port directed SMS (not visible to the human user). Once the application is installed and registered on the Device, voice message notifications are sent to the Movius VVM application using port directed SMS (not visible to the human user). The Movius VVM application uses IMAP to retrieve the voice message. The application then notifies the human user of the message.
