This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Web Blocker Pro *ROOT* on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

App is working smoothly.Very useful for me.I would recommend to kindly give an option to directly block all the sexually explicit websites instantly at one Tap as typing all of them is troubling.Hope you will add this in next update.I liked this Application.Best thing is that App is Ad-Free.I hope that no financial details would be shared by using the Application. Hope for the Best.Keep Going!!! Good work! Blocking is not working for UC Browser too.Kindly fix this issue.

Works pretty well on the original default browser. Been searching for this to help me concentrate and prevent further procrastination. For those of you who don't know your phone must be rooted and root access permission will be asked. If you allow. Then it'll do its magic. Great app. Thank you for making the pro version free as well. Hats off to the developer

the app is easy to use and is blocking sites properly, but it does something just after some minutes after you pressed a command. For example if yoo request the app to block itself so that you cannot edit anything during a time period, you can edit anything you wamt during 5 minutes. It could be faster.

I still want to block websites just to stat away from porno forever but there is something not right with this app. What is "root access" (I know it's misleading but they're the last two words) suppose to mean? Please help!!!

Hello. This is an OK app. However, when I used this app to block adult websites (for personal reasons) on Google Chrome for my Android phone, somehow the block didn't work. I followed the precautionary measures and instructions. Somehow, the block just didn't work. Can you please look into it? Thank you.

The name of this APP says it all, it does its job, blocking websites you want to block especially the annoying adds which pops up every now and then.

About this app

Important!!!
1.THIS APP NEED ROOT PERMISSION! if your phone is not rooted yet, I am sorry, this app won't work! and please don't give a bad rating because of it!
2. Turn off chrome data saver, this app won't block anything if you use data saver.
3. This app wont work on web browser that send data to server first (read the note).
4. Rating/Comment/Email that only state "IT DOESN'T WORK" will be ignored. It did work, git gud bro (or sis).
5. don't ask me how to root... please...
6. The dialer password is 55555.

Don't want to root? use NoRoot Firewall instead, it might works... maybe.


Description:
Web Blocker block websites, you don't need any special browser, this app will block all request to websites you block. You can use it as distraction blocker, so you can be focused on your work, or something else, it's up to you.

No ads, no IAP, no internet permission, just pure tools to help you (and myself too).

Features:
+ Block website that you don't want to see.
+ Most web blocking app use special browser, but web blocker is not
+ You can still using your favorite web browser.
+ Password protect, so other people can't change the settings.
+ Time protect, so you can't change the settings for specified time (useful if you want to focus on something but always get distracted by some websites).
+ Hide icon from the App Drawer, so only you can access this app.


If the website still not blocked, turn the internet off, and turn it on again.

Note:
1. the websites you block will stay blocked if you uninstall this app. so if you no longer want to use this app, make sure to remove all blocks first!
2. you can only block domain and subdomain, like www.example.com or blog.example.com, not a page such as www.example.com/somepages/here (credit to Gio Di Russo)
3. note that blocking example.com won't block www.example.com, and blocking www.example.com won't block blog.example.com. You have to define it one by one (sorry for this limitation).
4. Doesn't work on OPERA or OPERAMINI because they are using server side data. (credit to Mahabub Jitu)
5. I am not taking any of your data, this app doesn't have internet access permission, so there is no way I can do it! (credit to some jerk who said "this app is a scam!")
6. This app doesn't stack with apps that blocking ads, because it use the same blocking mechanism (blocking ads is illegal anyway).
