This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AirText - Desktop SMS/MMS Text Messaging on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

I have updated my previous review as I had paid for a lifetime subscription and after an update my login did stop working for a month, but they have finally resolved the issue and it works very well now. It is useful for texting longer texts than on my phone, for websites that send verification texts and just using one computer at a time. I hope it continues working through the subsequent updates now.

This App is Junk!! I installed AirText but it never completely finished the setup... I emailed for support and a week later still NO FIX for the problem. They stopped replying to me!!! Poor to Nonexistent Support

Not a bad app, but I don't like the nags with the free version. I just want a simple app to text from my Mac if needed. I know it won't be as good as iMessage, but this little app seems to get the job done!

Updated review 6 months in -- the app on mac would constantly try to update even after and update had just been done. Eventually it stopped connecting jo matter how many times I tried to update. I connected them several times and finally asked to cancel my service. They do not offer refunds for the yearly plans. Unaccaptable

Update from my very poor & very dissatisfied review I sumbitted due to piss-poor customer service after I upgraded to "pro". I received this response to my more than 10 queries as to how to actually move form trial to pro after paying: "Bill, I can not believe you sent literally over 10 offensive emails over the course of 24hrs and wrote a terrible review because you haven't received a response in the last 8hrs. We absolutely do not want customers like you. I cancelled your subscription and refunded your order. I will go ahead and disable your account. Please do not use our app. I'm also putting your email in the block list, any further email from you will be blocked. MDRS Support"

Was great at the install. Now doesn't send and now not connecting. Have messaged Support but waiting, waiting. If the trial is this bad won't b purchasing full V. :-(
