Do you already use Trillian on your computer to chat with your friends? Why not also send & receive text messages with your Android number, using Trillian? SMS Plugin for Trillian let's you do exactly that.
Download the app and create an "SMS Plugin for Trillian Account". You will need to add your account on Trillian (step by step instructions are included in the app). Once you add your account, all your Android contact list will appear online on Trillian and you will be able to send & receive text messages with them.
