Ok. Rough start. This is the revised edition. Got it working. Steps that may possibly help you. Had to seperate 2.4 and 5.0 on the router. Didn't work. Even as seperate networks. Mildly frustrated I then , at the same time, turned off 5.0 and reset not only the router setting on the device but also the personal settings(red and green). Worked. Seems to be still working with 5.0 turned back on. My thought, after reading that the device "bonds?" to the user. May have bonded prior to another.....

Who thought it would be a good idea to change the UI colors and backgrounds. The previous version you could at least read the percentage values without editing them, now the entire app is an eyesore, either put in a dark mode toggle, or at least LOOK AT THE UI before pushing this to users.

Changed router and the light and app wouldn't re-connect. Wish I'd chose a different brand led with more modern technology and a more user friendly app

Cool, this app is almost impossible to get the time to sync correctly. Can't get a single one of my power heads to run on the time schedule I want due to the app not actually updating the time. This app keeps getting worse and worse.

Updated review: Setup was a pain as it is very picky with WiFi. Only works on 2.4 but, unlike my smart plugs (also 2.4 only) it won't work on combined 2.4/5.0 networks. To connect I had to split my WiFi in two, one 2.4 and the other 5.0 (single 2.4/5.0 is default for most routers). Wouldn't work in AP Mode at all. It finds the light, but hangs when I try to get to the settings. Once the app is working, setting up a lighting schedule is reasonably straightforward but could be simpler.
