This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Mad Contacts Widget on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

This is a great app for senior citizens too. I have been using it for a long time. Moreover the developer is very helpful in ironing out the little problems related to the app.I appreciate it.

Its a little slow on start up but just a few seconds. Do wish you could put them in order while in groups. That has to be done when putting contacts in manually and one by one. I really enjoy this app mostly. No problems with crashing or freezing. The contacts are right there when you need them.

Although, on the whole, the app/widget is good in what it offers, it has an annoying habit of refreshing & doing what it want & not what you want it to do. For example, contact photos. Laboriously set what photos you want for each contact only to find that the next time you use it it has refreshed often leaving you with no photo at all or all contact photos have been downgraded & pixellated. If the developer wants to provide a system where your contact has a photo, at least make sure it works.

Looks good but most used contacts only works for about 24hrs. Seems to clear overnight and start all over again. Without this function for me it's just a pretty list. I used to use a different contact app and the most used contact function stopped working on that too so maybe its an android thing.

It's probably a good app but to create a direct dial widget for a single contact is not particularly straightforward. In fact, I had to install some other app of yours (Contact Ograniser?), and still don't have the widget. Through Contact Options and the plus sign I got somewhere where "Loading" is hanging forever. Useless.

I guess I shouldn't have updated to Android 11. Widget stopped working. Great widget until that update

Mad Contacts Widget is a great looking contacts / call widget. You can call, sms, email, send whatsapp, skype or viber messages or edit your selected contacts straight from your home screen!

- Choose from multiple widget sizes and more than 10 tailored layouts with both small and big contact pictures. Or choose a fully resizable widget, sized from 1x1 up to 8x6 on bigger devices! (2 to 999 contacts!)
- Quick Actions to reach your contacts with a single click!
- Scrollable layouts with 10 different contact photo sizes to choose from!
- Different contact photo shapes (square, rounded square or round)
- Add shortcuts to any apps on your phone. So you can have a scrolling home screen with both contacts and apps!
- Fill your widget with any of your contact groups (favorite contacts, friends, family, etc.) and sort them by alphabetical order or most times/last time contacted.
- Add shortcuts to multiple contact groups and sort them independently from each other's.
- Edit your contact groups with Mad Contact Groups directly from your widget!
- Group Photos set in Mad Contact Groups will sync with mad contact widget.

- Supports Skype, WhatsApp and Viber (Show/hide Call, Sms, Skype, WhatsApp, Viber and Email buttons by going to widget preferences/contact screen options.)
- Pick any color for the text, the border and the background of your widget(s). Widget background transparency from 0-100%. You can make the background fully transparent if you wish! (Only in paid version )
