Although not as elegant as the iOS solution, this app seems to work pretty well for managing the connection to the pen. It can sometimes be a little slow at the initial connection but I suspect this is down to device subtleties rather than the app itself. My only issue so far has been doing firmware updates which required 2 restarts of the app/pen to complete but each time, it restarted the update where it had left off and continued on it's merry way. Overall, not a bad effort for a complex platform and looking forward to future improvements. to make the process smoother and faster.

Utilizing the app no problems, saving meetings, then all of a sudden the app says you need to uninstall! Ok, but where's my stuff that I recorded?? If the pen was cheap this applications quality would be understandable, but it's NOT!! I hate this app and will never buy another pen. Not dependable at all. Beware!!

I really love the pen, I never miss anything in class. I can share with my classmates; notes, pen casts, or the entire notebook. I recommend this pen for anyone who has trouble in school getting the notes down. When I have problems, I just record the lectures.

Like most of us, I reset everything turned it off removed app, hard restart etc. Chat support weren't able to help. I'm having regrets.

Livescribe took a great pen and created so many techi-innovations that the ordinary person is overwhelmed. The first SmartPen was brilliant. This one is poor.

:( the app and pen have so many issues with it comes to syncing and paring that makes the pen useless, not the app or the frimware for the pen has been updated in more than a year! Please fix.
