Android 9. Samsung Galaxy 8. Widget doesn't work. The App itself only opens the usual Hotspot settings. It is impossible to turn hotspot on/off by one tap.

If for no other reason than that it works on 6.0 this is the one you should use. Even better it has options to restore wifi state AND to disable mobile wifi when turned off if you desire. Widget changes colour when enabled/disabled. Would be perfect if it also had a "setting up" visual state (maybe flashing colour?) when you first turn it on, as the 5 second delay can be confusing.
