Really useful app to debug hue-experiments. Would even be better if "names" were shown in the list of id's to quicker find the right light, sensor, schedule, etc

Great app for viewing your hue configuration, very helpful when working as an developer, thanks a lot! Would be great to be able to edit as well, maybe in the future?

very handy app to quickly retrieve Hue bridge config information!

Well it's a viewer so it does that. But this would be a great app, if I could remove stuff. Just a button with maybe a confirm dialog will do.

Great idea but needs the ability to modify config. I'd love to delete some groups that a deprecated Hue Control app created and I have no way of doing this.

Only thing missing is ability to modify raw values. I'm not asking for fancy UI, to be clear: just the ability to write and delete key-value pairs. Why? Because some Hue apps pollute the configuration with junk data, eg. obviously generated profile names or parts of profiles that have otherwise been deleted etc. This unfortunately tends to result in generally confusing experience when using apps that are susceptible to such data inconsistency, ie. Hue Pro (I guess other ones just disregard it or something).

About this app

This app requires a Philips Hue system with a Hue bridge. Its sole purpose is to view the configuration inside the Hue bridge, compare it to a "registry viewer". The Hue Config Viewer is not an editor; it will not write to the configuration. It does not control your lights.

Hue bridge configuration keys and values are shown horizontally next to each other. When you retrieve the configuration again (sync icon), the changes are highlighted.

Are you a Hue developer or user, interested what is the configuration in your Hue bridge? With the Hue Config Viewer you can see the configuration. If you want to understand the configuration, go to the Philips page https://www.meethue.com and look for "developers" and then "Philips hue API".

The app has an option to share your bridge configuration. Always be careful when you share data and think with whom you will be sharing this. Your bridge configuration describes which lights, sensors, and switches you have; your home automation behaviour and the apps you use.

For your privacy, all “whitelist” entries in the bridge configuration are partially replaced by “…”
