Doesn't work. I've tried about a half-dozen times using the wireless method, and nothing happens. I just keep getting a message telling me that the transfer can't take place. I was able to transfer my contacts by turning on Android Beam on both phones and then holding the two phones together back to back. I also accessed everything connected to Google by signing into my Google account. However, I do not have access to my text messages or any of my Quick Memo notes.

I got this to transfer the data from my note 8 to my stylo 6 and the app completely froze on saving downloaded apps. I looked on reddit and apparently nobody warns you that it could take as long as 8 hours to finish the process for some people depending on the amount you are transferring. It completely locks you out of the phone where you cant cancel and download the apps manually, you cant scroll the notification bar down, you can't lock or restart your phone. Bricked until complete.

I'm having the exact same problem as another person who reviewed this app. I cannot get a majority of my text messages to transfer. My phone provider says that it has nothing to do with them. It is an LG problem. I've been trying to get my text messages for 2 weeks now and nothing works.

I brought a new LG Stylo 6 phone on July 23, 2020, upgraded from LG K20 phone. I followed instructions with downloading the LG Mobile Switch app for both phones to transfer my old data to new phone. The process was flawless except that one app didn't transfer over because it was downloaded originally (was removed from old phone but kept data). I suggest not to use the LG Mobile Switch (or similar) that's already on the phones and to download the latest versions.

This app is terrible. It won't allow transfer of music files and won't allow transfer for tablets or PCs. I have an LG X5 and cannot transfer files via USB cable either. I won't buy another LG phone.

Does not work; total waste of time. Tried to move content from LG33 (Android 5.0.1) to LG322 (Android 9). Option to receive data was NOT available for either device; both displayed "this device can only send." Tried numerous times. Lost hours...
