I've been looking for something like this, oddly enough, I wasn’t having much luck. All I found were apps that were too specific/couldn't read from 3rd party apps, or apps I had to pay for. Then, I came across this little beauty. It's simple & efficient. Good work. Thanks. I've ONE complaint. The read out of highlighted text will randomly stop when played from the context menu but, reads fine if typed (copy/paste, in this case) into the app itself. Aside from that, I've had no problems at all.

I almost wound up giving this app four stars because I haven't been fully impressed with it's voice. I think that maybe the app's voice can use a little more personality, maybe even an accent? However, I am going to go ahead and give this app five stars because I am very impressed with its straightforward and basic layout. I am extremely impressed with the fact that it has been helping me to get my projects done, 10% or more faster!

Update, I am started to get irritated, I used this app for highlight features which i loved, now it doesn't? Why have you removed that? Just for that reason low star rating. The best I have ever used for text to speech. It has almost totally fulfilled my wants. Like no restrictions on what website or app you use easy to save and read text. Plus easy voice, pitch and speed. modification. I expect it to improve little more ux and easiness. Thank you. Great app.

I love it! I have vocal cord problems and some days have no voice. I am taking ASL but for now am happy I found this app. Works great. It's bilingual too which is great for when I speak to my mom in Spanish. I can switch back and fourth between English and Spanish.

It is a nice app to convert text to speech. We can export to wav format, it is the only available format for exporting the audio. (wav file can be converted to mp3 using audio editor like lexis editor). Used this app to convert English text to audio and Hindi text to audio. Only female voice is available. We need to set the language everytime we open the app. Haven't seen any app that is simple and easy as this.

This app only opens the actual website I click on half the time I click on my phone and tell it yes open with talk free text just once or always it opens up and nothing's there. However it did work about three times out of the 10 I've tried right now it's not working... Frustrating
