The devices work great. Intergration with Amazon Alexa was simply. All function work as expected. I have been running 6 of these switches since October 2017, without issue. Just ordered 6 more. I also run smart life switches on the same network, no issues. I will update if anything changes. I found the devices to be very easy to setup. I ordered more because these switches allow me to monitor power usage from anywhere.

This is for all the people out there who are having trouble using with Amazon Echo or Google device.. note that this only works at 2.4 gigahertz and if your echo or Google devices connected to your 5 gigahertz.. it's not going to search it you need to connect the devices with 2.4 gigahertz. Also use AP mode to configure the device first takes less than 30 seconds to install

I just got a 3 pack of the KMC outlets and was dismayed to read the poo reviews. However they connected to my wifi and echo with no trouble at all and now my interior Christmas decorations are voice controlled. They honestly took less than 2 minutes apiece to set up.

Seems to work fine. Install was easy on first outlet, second took to attempts but worked. Haven't checked all features but seems decent. Power monitoring would be better if it included a recording of time device is turned on and maybe an export feature.

Google Home cannot use KMC and Smart Life plugs at the same time because both companies use Smart Life service within Goolge Home. Google Home has deficiencies compared to Alexa in how it discovers devices. If KMC would rename their Google Home service to something other than Smart Life, I could use both types of plugs. Until then, I am SOL. If not for this, app is well made and simple to use.

App sucks 49% battery drain. With Alexa connect, then uninstall phone app. Sockets still work.
