Interface doesn't differentiate message source as SIM 1 or 2, loads too slow, themes not as good as your own pulse sms app, further no easy way to identify current & unread sms which is disappointing..., but swipe feature is so cool...

I've always loved evolve sms but I just got a new XZ premium and it has improved on this phone.. I know you have to pay for themeing but it's worth it!! Looks fantastic, feels great.. And if you're too tight to pay the nice developers for there hard work, then you lose out!!! You get what you pay for.. No adverts or anything that pesters you to spend more money.. I love it!! Thank you 😁👍

When it works it's great, but when it doesn't, well why have it if it doesn't work, right. Not sure why it just stops receiving texts, sometimes it's because I forget to turn off VPN, stock app works with VPN. But other times it just doesn't work. Was using it on One Plus 5 stock Hydrogen. Latest is Hydrogen updated to Oreo. Seems to be OK so far with most things, but not changing rating because can't set ringtones. Can select them, but they don't take, at all. Back to stock messaging app for now.

Of the SMS apps I've tried, EvolveSMS has the best one-screen, two column landscape interface for a Gemini PDA phone clamshell design. No modal BS... easy to track all txt threads at once. Very clean and simple layout, no confusion. One odd quirk: attach button (paperclip) disappears and becomes a Send button once you start entering text. So it demands a very specific order of operation for MMS texts. But I adapted to that because of the superior interface, Yappy web integration, and overall stability.

Constant popups to download other apps or rate this app (even after submitting a rating). Can't get rid of the banner to add the feature pack. Frequent failures to send and receive SMS and MMS messages. Positives are the theming and the conversation list pinning.
