About this app

NOTE: This was my first app ever made to be used by the public. It lacks a usable GUI (it looks weird) and it's not so easy to use. Feel free to try it, but don't expect big fuss!
FileThruSMS is a revolutionary app, I may say.

FileThruSMS is one of my first kind-of-useful applications. It is used to transfer photos between two devices that have the app installed. You may select any photo, but depending on it's size and quality the number of SMS's used will increase. The application will encode the photo into text and send it through a "big SMS", consising in up to 255 messages. The receiever MUST have the app installed. When the receiver gets the message, it is automatically saved in a file in /sdcard/fts/temp.txt. Going into the app and hitting "decode" will decrypt the message and convert it into the original picture, viewable in gallery.
Please excuse the numerous bugs, because I am very new in Android Developing. Reporting the bugs will be extremely useful.
NOTE: Please install ES File Explorer to view the files the app creates, if the gallery won't show up. Otherwise, browse to /sdcard/fts and there are the files.

To decode a received file, simply open the app and hit "Decode". This will start decoding the message.

New features

First version ever released.
- ES File Explorer is needed to view the files.
- Progress bar may not work on some devices.
- App may crash if closed while sending message.
