This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SafeTether -WiFi Tether on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

SafeTether allows you to easily and safely turn your Android device into a free WiFi hotspot. It does not require "rooting" your device.

SafeTether provides the following security features:

- Generates a strong password using a sequence of random characters or random words (or you can choose your own password if you prefer).
- Uses the strongest WPA/WPA2 encryption.
- Shows all the clients that have connected to your WiFi hotspot, so you can verify that no unauthorized users are accessing your network.
- Hides the network name by default, so only people who know the network name and password can tether to your device.

This free app limits tether usage to 5 minutes at a time. A one-time $4.99 in-app purchase unlocks unlimited tethering.

NOTE: Some carriers or device manufacturers disable or limit the Android tethering features, so please don't give a bad review in that case. You can test for 5 minutes as many times as you wish before unlocking the unlimited version.
