This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Smart Calendar (Beta) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Planner Events
- Enter criteria and choose from between 5 different functions to return a list of possible times sorted by how useful they are estimated to be
- Function ratings are used to "evolve" the set of functions

Next Event Notification
- Get notified when you need to leave for your next event, based on your mode of travel and the travel time

Settings
- Enable or disable Next Event Notification
- Create, edit or delete location tags*
- Change your default mode of travel

*For example, by saving the location of "WGB" with its real address, any events containing the tag will be recognised as being at that location eg. "FW26, WGB"

- PRIVACY -

This app tracks only the following data:
- The difference between the time to the next event and the estimated duration when a notification is fired (when notifications are enabled)
- If you made it to the next event on time (when notifications are enabled)
- Utility function chosen
- Utility of event chosen
- Position of the event chosen in the list
- Maximum utility returned by the function
- Average utility returned by the function
- Rating of each function

The app also saves this data onto a file on the phone:
- Weights of the utility neural networks

User IP addresses are anonymized.
