This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Ivez AAC Speech Assistant on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Ivez AAC Speech Assistant is an app that helps those who have difficulty communicating with speech. This application allows user to create tiles for use with Google text-to-speech TTS. Predefined tiles are also available with a selection of text and images.

This app is designed for those with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs and contains a lock feature preventing unintended changes.

The app can aid those whose physical or mental condition does not allow them to speak for themselves.This may include people with Autism, Asperger's or anyone on the autistic spectrum. The app may help those with Down Syndrome, ALS, Apraxia or people who have suffered from a stroke.

*Note:

You can set the default TTS Output to "Google Text-to-Speech Engine" via Settings>Accessibility.

*Note Unlock:
If you set the app to full lock mode you must type "0100" without quotes and then click the cross button. This will unlock the app.
