About this app

This app requires the deployment of the Atlas CM Server for each enterprise and is part of a suite of applications designed to enhance the safety and security of lone workers and simplify the management of emergency and critical system alarms. It cannot be used without first implementing these servers. Please contact Isle Systems for further information on server deployment.


Atlas Critical Messenger (Atlas CM) delivers reliable messaging without delay or confusion with other messaging platforms. Atlas CM is intended for use in environments where it is critical that responders receive messages quickly and attracts their attention through visual and audible ques.

Atlas CM integrates with the PPS and/or CallPoint to delivery reliable communication between all users and responders. When an alarm is raised the CM app automatically jumps to the foreground and attracts the responders’ attention with a notifying sound. Once the responder has reacted to the alarm the notification sound is stopped. All actions taken within the alert are automatically communicated to all other responders and the user who activated the alarm

App Permissions

Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows modification of the telephony state - power on, mmi, etc.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
