SMSGroupChat works with any Airtel, Reliance or BSNL Bundle SMS Plans.

SMSGroupChat can be installed on any Group Member phone with Bundled SMS Plan
Open the SMSGroupChat App installed on the Smartphone and Setup the Group Members Contact List as shown in Fig 4.
Now SMS will be delivered to all the Group Members by just sending an SMS to the Smartphone Installed with SMSGroupChat App.

Note: You also need to add the entry "thisnumber=Phone_number" as one of the Contact and Phone_number is the Mobile number of the Smartphone Installed with SMSGroupChat.

This App is really helpful for the following Scenarios:

1. Want to send Meeting reminders to all your colleagues?
Put aside an old Smartphone and Install SMSGroupChat and create your Contact List for all your members as shown in Fig 4.
Now all Users can receive an SMS by sending one SMS to the Smartphone installed with SMSGroupChat.

2. Nobody has Smartphones for sending SMS quickly to All of your team Members?
Just get an old Android Phone and install SMSGroupChat and create your Contact List for all your members as shown in Fig 4.
Now all your Button Phone users can send SMS to the whole Team just by sending a Single SMS to the Smartphone with SMSGroupChat App Installed on it.

3. Want to have a family SMS Chat session?
Let one member of the family purchase a Bundle SMS Plan.
Install SMSGroupChat App on the Smartphone with Bundle SMS Plan.
Now family members including the user with Bundle SMS Plan can send SMSes to all the family members,
This is done by sending a message to the Android Smartphone with SMSGroupChat Installed.

4. Your smartphone screen can be locked and still your SMSGroupChat App will send SMS to all your Group Members.


Setting up your Smartphone with SMSGroupChat:

1. Install on SMSGroupChat App on the Smartphone with Bundle SMS Plan.
2. Open the SMSGroupChat App and enter All your Friends or Team Members Contact List with the Format "Member_Name=Member_MobileNumber" as shown in Fig 4.
here Member_Name is the First Name or Nick Name of the Member.
and Member_MobileNumber is the Member's Mobile Number.
3. One Member per One Line only.
4. Also add and Entry with "thisnumber=This_Mobile_Number" where This_Mobile_Number is the Mobile Number of the Android Phone with SMSGroupChat Installed.
5. After all the Details have been entered i.e One Contact Name and Number per line Click the "Save" Button as shown in Fig 5.
6. You SMSGroupChat is now Listening for Incoming SMS with will then be forwarded to all the Members in the List as shown in Fig 7.
7. In case you need you update Your Members Contact List just Click on the "Edit" button, update your details and Click on the "Save" button again.

SMGGroupChat creates 2 files in the smsgrpchat directory which stores the Member Contacts and the SMS Chat Data: i.e: smscontacts.txt and smstalk.txt
SMSGroupChat App can send SMS Messages even with the phone screen in screen-lock mode or the SMSGroupChat App is running Minimized.
