Il gruppo ellenofono "Jalò tu Vua" nasce negli anni 70 del secolo scorso con la voglia di tutelare, valorizzare e promuovere la lingua e la cultura de Greci di Calabria.

Le attività e i progetti realizzati nel corso di questi anni hanno fatto si che diversi giovani si avvicinassero a questo mondo.

Fanno parte dell'Associazione persone che amano la lingua e le tradizioni culturali della Calabria greca e con il loro impegno riescono a tenere acceso l'interesse per questo mondo che, se non opportunamente seguito, andrebbe inesorabilmente incontro all'oblio.

Tutti lavorano al progetto di tutela e promozione di questa cultura in modo appassionato e volontario, ognuno da il suo contributo a seconda del settore in cui è esperto con il solo scopo di far crescere l'interesse e l'amore per la lingua dei nostri padri.
