Unfortunately tragic quality. And even worse, that we cannot get out money back. Looks like that's why there's not "free trial" period, because of so many disappointed users. May I ask though, can we "transfer" the license from android to iOS? Perhaps this will improve the rating a bit.

I'm really disappointed with this app. Android support is abysmal and only works via WiFi. The help page says that the wired connection will come back, but that hasn't been the case. I'm still waiting... The lag via a WiFi connection makes it unusable. So in the end this was a waste of money. I wish I could get my money back.

What an utter disgrace: A comparatively expensive app that does not work, has no support response & no refunds. Basically it's theft dressed as software sales. Outrageous

I think this is a clever idea, but I was not able to use it in any practical way. The images on my tablet were slow to respond (as in tens of seconds or even minutes) and often highly pixelated. I did reach out to the developer twice using their online help form, but I didn't receive a response after waiting a week after each request for help.

In light of the negative reviews of this product, I felt it worthwhile to document my experience. My laptop is a 2014 MacBook Air running macOS Mojave version 10.14.2. My Android tablet, being used as a second display, is a Google Pixel C running Android 8.1.0. When I first downloaded the apps, I was on a public WiFi, and the two systems would not communicate. I've had similar problems before. I've never troubled to thoroughly investigate this issue in the past, but at a guess it is a firewall / access / network setup issue. Returning home, I had no problems getting the two systems to communicate, and as I write this I have my tablet displaying a second application. I have disconnected and reconnected several time with no problems. Initially I manually entered the laptop's IP address and port, but the Android side of iDisplay was able to auto-detect the Mac and connect. It's not a high speed link by any means, and I would not recommend playing Minecraft on the Android second screen, though it can be done. System preferences showed both screens and allowed some configuration. So, so far I can say that the software is working as advertised.

Not working. A few years ago, after buying it, I discovered in their FAQ that the extended displayed function has been put on hold for stability reason. Now I see that they took out the USB connectivity! (only wifi allowed) WORST: the extended display [wifi] is not working: it cannot even start. Only the (useless) extended display [wifi] function is working. Since I need an extra display in my work environment, I cannot connect my tablet (Thompson TO13P, a 13.3") on the secured corporate wifi (need certificate). Without USB / Extended Display, this app is useless to me. Too expensive for nothing.
