About this app

PASS as SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) may be applied for several purposes in industrial and building automation, from low signalling rate data collection systems through production monitoring of manufacturing lines to dispatch centres of complete shop floors. Within the segment of building automation PASS offers solutions for the automation and supervision in the size range between private homes and office buildings.

As clients may have access to the system only through browser, users are able to build complex, yet flexible structures highly adaptive to the local requirements at low investment costs. Latest technologies allow users to satisfy the needs of Industry 4.0 and IoT – the Internet of Things.

The core of the system consists of a 64-bit Linux and SQL based engine. Apart from the standard I/O drives, Modbus, TCP, Modbus RTU, Siemens S7, BACnet, OPC… it has automatic MOXA remote I/O recognition and automatic data point configuration. Data connection is provided by ODBC, SQL and SAP interfaces. PASS encompasses basic SCADA functions (alarm system, historic data acquisition-diagram, user management), but it is added with freely configurable, even freely programmable controller modules, or an automated report generator. Technological graphics may be created either with a graphic generator or with full-functionality vector graphics editor.

System configuration, programming and management may be executed 100% through web browser, even with a mobile device and with infinite number of clients. All versions include the full functionality, there is no maintenance- or runtime version, just the PASS.
