Let's get things straight once and for all: (although I successfully configured my APs after hours of trial and error) 1 - the lack of a web interface to configure the APs is a HUGE mistake. 2 - the user should not be forced to use only the app for the configuration. 3 - the APs are running HOT from the bottom I don'y know, I don't think they'll last very long. 4 - HP Support should help IT freelancer like myself, who works for several other businesses, to open a support case, I should not be forced to have a business to open a case. 5 - HP should have done better job on these APs, I did not expect this to happens from a well known company. 6 - Why should allow a lot of permissions to use the app? PLZ EXPLAIN 7 - IMPORTANT: When upgrading these APs will not be considered at all.

Does not run unless you give it access to you phones location and admin access to your phone. I only wanted to setup an access point for a client, why on earth does it need these permissions??? Then after begrudgingly giving it the permissions it needs, the app just spins forever when configuring the ap and never completes. What a waste of time.

Great little app. Easy to setup and do the job. I am used to the enterprise kit and this does not have the extra functions but that is the reason for the discounted price. if you want VLAN and multiple SSID other the main one and guest buy the full unit.

Doesn't work, spent hours in endless upgrade loop. Never picks up the ball to run. Ready to return unit.

Unbelievable. How can HP sell cr** like this. I want proper configuration access to the device, not some spyware app that asks for my location. Configuration via an app is idiotic. As such the HPE OC20 device isn't useful even as a paperweight, since it is not heavy.
