App was fine. I used it to set up a Google AIY Voice kit. Everything went exactly as stated in the AIY documentation. Not sure what else the app is good for...

everything seems the work okay up until it got to connecting to my Wi-Fi. The issue is that my Wi-Fi it does not broadcast and has to be manually entered (I live in an apartment). Unfortunately, this app doesn't seem to have the ability to manually enter the hidden network SSID and password. please update this app so you can enter SSID and password manually.

It breaks my heart to rate this app. But in truth it is an unnecessary step that makes aiy voice and vision even harder to setup. Please Google take this useless app down. I have and love 4 aiy devices. They are as hard as heck to setup, this app makes the process harder. (Not one ever connected to this app. And if you do connect, you get it address? Joke is on you.)

every negative review here explains the clearly ignored problems with this app. but the few positive reviews give no clear reason for being positive. reading all the bad reviews here and the lack of success with this app overall is an embarrassment. It is very very clear that most of the positive reviews here are given by people that just automatically try to put five star reviews on most apps without any actual thought or respect for dependability or trustworthiness or usability of the app.

App works great! Connected and setup my pi zero using my tablet without any issues. App walked through the setup for the wifi network and IP address. After setup I was able to run a terminal app and log in and update files using ssh.

In case if the app cannot find the device, turn OFF your bluetooth, and turn it on inside of the app. This seems to refresh some memory and make it rescan the environment.
