Just got our globalstar 9600 and it works great with our gsp-1700 phone. Only oddity is that I get continuous, like every 10 seconds, notification of "checking mail". Not sure if that will hurt my Galaxy Nexus battery life.

Basically useless. Facebook access is so out dated that it's unusable. Speed is slower than 70s dial up. And it drops connection when device loses sat connection, which is constantly.
