About this app

Know Your Event (KYE) is designed to connect people to events.

Know Your Event is your connection to a variety of hyper-local content, promotions, and interactivity relevant to your specific events. When KYE detects the presence of a ‘beacon’ it will provide a notification with the option to view more information related to that beacon located at your events.

What is a beacon? Beacons are tiny Bluetooth based radio devices, which emit a unique signal. When placed strategically throughout an event environment, for example, they can be used to tailor unique event experiences for event goers.

KYE is designed to be non-intrusive and simply waits in the background for a nearby beacon to be detected. It’s important to note that battery use is conserved by enabling radio only when in the vicinity of a beacon.
