Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iRemind on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Notes:
1. iRemind is not a replacement for the stock messaging app.
2. iRemind requires a few permissions to function properly viz. Read Contacts, Send SMS, Read Phone State (to detect single/multi-sim availability) & Call. It is required that you ALLOW the app these permissions.
3. SIM selection option when creating a reminder will appear only for multi-sim devices. Please make sure to select the correct sim in the app which can send SMS's to prevent sending failure.
4. The app displays ads non intrusively to help fund the development. Be kind & click if you fancy the content.
5. Translations to non English languages are done with the help of Google Translate. If you would like to submit a correction or help with the translation, contact us from Settings within the application. We will post an update immediately once a sufficient number of improvements are collected per language; as well as credit you by displaying your name in the app description here!
