This app could do with a serious overhaul in my opinion. It serves its purpose but it acts more like a wrapper around their website as opposed to an actual app. In most cases using the app to change anything will bounce you into android webview (browser) and load their website. In my personal opinion I'd prefer if the app used an API to their services and implemented a standard material design instead of bouncing you back to webview.

6 July 2021 after trying to log on i get ominous "oops seem like we have got gremlins", which is a euphemism for "our app doesn't work and you can't login in via the browser either". I've been unable to receive texts and calls from some people for over a year despite changing my sim twice. So no app, no service and zero customer service. Giff gaff - are you able to respond to this? Please don't paste the template about being sorry. I obediently pay every month.

Ok, just uninstalled app then installed again and updated and i still can't log in! (Tap on Log In and nothing happens). Works on my ipad but not my phone. Have cleared data as suggested too - nothing. Please help...update. it has stopped working since May 2021 AGAIN! WHAT IS GOING ON? For absolutely no reason app has stopped working and doesnt allow log in. Click on "log in", nothing happens! So fed up, i want it on my phone, not my ipad where the app works. Uninstalling doesnt help one bit!

Problem app offers login button but provides no method via which to log in ... No user name field no password field ... Etc for those of us who don't use biometric data etc at first I thought is this a joke app ? Where's the old app it worked fine ? Ignore the one star rating I am disappointed that Giffgaff have offered this as a replacement it simply doesn't work I give it zero please return the old app

It's not all singing and dancing, too much reading to get to where a simple question to a person would save my time! Far too complex and round the houses. Using O2 as a piggyback provider creates overall but slow, slow data and poor voice connection. General rule of thumb, change the SIM card!

Changed drastically in the past 5 years not the same service it was,more exspensive,and data control has become a joke,seriously considering a change of network!😒
