Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing M2M Dashboard on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

The M2M Dashboard provides overview of usage, alarms as well as details on subscriptions in a customer’s M2M solution with Telenor Connexion. Also gives possibility to manage subscriptions and alarms. Following functionality is e.g. available:
o Total GPRS and SMS usage
o Average GPRS and SMS usage per subscriber
o Top 5 Subscribers on GPRS as well as SMS usage
o Top 5 countries on GPRS as well as SMS usage
o Overview and details on Trigger Alarms
o Details on subscriptions
o Possibility to deactivate individual subscriptions

The application is free to download but requires authorization code to install (available at request from Telenor Connexion Service Desk for customers with API service) and API service user account to run.

New features

The following changes and bug fixes are included in this release (R1D):
- Terms of use text is now stored and accessed locally instead of over the network
- Fixed null pointer exception that occurred when fetching subscription information and no APNs had been configured
- Fixed null pointer exception that could occur in some notification combinations
- Minor look and feel changes for Notifications

Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
