Many apps can show if you are connected to a cell network or wi-fi. It does not mean that you are connected to the internet. This one works as expected - shows connection to INTERNET, while my wi-fi is working but i dont have connection to the internet. :(

Best App, working great. I would like to add two suggestions. 1. Add an option to keep the status icon always. Green for connected and become red when not connected. 2. Remove white lines around the status bar icon. It will look more beautiful. Or an option to select icon from a list provided.

I look at my status bar and see I'm not connected. I go to my Settings and click "choose the best provider" and I'm reconnected. Unless this app will re-connect me I don't really see the point.

Handy for when you move into a low coverage area, but the ads are awful. I'll pay to get rid of them.

The application is very good and does what it says. Notification Icon need to be some more elegant. Circle one instead is square (glowing led type). Red one for no link (Wifi or mobile) and internet, yellow for link but no internet and green for both. Notification icon can be permanent in the status bar. Sorry to inform that it is not working in Lollipop. Notification doesn't change. No status bar icon.

This app is great. Just alerted me my wifi connection was down and I switched to data. Great for never being disconnected again.

About this app

MISS – My Internet StatuS helps you monitor the status of your internet connection and get notified when you lose connectivity to take actions. Never miss any important email, message, chat message or any update you are waiting urgently, due to internet connection loss. Get notified via notification of the status change, and customize your notification.

MISS monitors the status of the actual internet connection and not only active WIFI network or data connection such as 3G 4G and others. Mainly the app will notify you in most cases when you lose connection such as:
- No active networks: WIFI,3G,4G
- Active network available, but internet connection is down
- Network and Internet available, but your signal is very low to connect
- And others…Mainly if you cannot use the internet you will be notified, and take appropriate action on your side.

The app notifies you using notification with three notification type (In addition to vibration and LED, customization):
- Standard text notification
- Notification with standard ringtone
- Notification with custom speech to inform you of the status

PS: If you receive "internet connection available" notification, without a disconnection this means that the internet connection had undergone a glitch without disconnecting.

Technically while other app use DNS or HTTP check, this one uses a low level ping, that gives 100% accurate result and preventing erroneous cached results.

The app is straight forward: install, launch it once and the process will handle everything for you. You don’t even have to restart it after reboot.
