This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing WATCHU Kids GPS Tracking on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Bought the £120 watch. Have to login to 1 site to register the sim, another site to top-up the sim , and I get an error when trying to create a user account for the app. So far, I haven't been able to even test the watch. Feels like a very disjointed system, and the app feels like a beta product, that isn't yet ready for general release.

I had a right nightmare setting it up not going to lie for some reason everybody could call my son but me. Customer service were as helpful as could be but nobody not even my network could find the reason for it not letting me call him. I was going to send it back but i thought id try putting a giff gaff sim into the watch that has now worked a treat and lets me call him for some reason the sim that comes with the watch will not let my phone call it. I have jus tracked his everymove its ace!

Very disappointing. So inaccurate that you cannot safely rely on this app at all. We have repeatedly flagged issues but the problems persist.

Overall ok, notifications aren't 100% reliable, also could do with a choice of different notifications/sounds for enter / exits and for voice messages. Also I really need to see my own location on the map when I'm locating the watch. (My daughter)

Location doesn't update correctly and the the app doesn't show the statusof the watch connection.

About this app

Safety for children is a vital concern and we all want to protect them during the vital years of development. When setting out to develop the WATCHU GPS Smart Watch for Kids, we placed these concerns at the forefront of our design. We want our products to give caregivers peace of mind and reassurance that the child is safe and will be able to relay and react to any potential threats.

With the WATCHU app, caregivers may track where the child is and where they are going at any given time. With the ability to set up geo-zones, caregivers are informed instantly if the child has veered out of a safe space. In case of an emergency, the child may hold a button and a warning is sent to the caregiver’s smartphone. The WATCHU GPS Smart Phone for Kids also allows two-way voice communication between caregiver and child for true instantaneous communication between caregiver and child.

Caregivers concerned about their child’s health and physical activity have the ability to monitor it with a built-in pedometer. Record steps taken, calories burned and distance travelled directly to the app.
The ability to partner watches together allows close friends or siblings to communicate with each other through their watches. Children can be grouped together in the WATCHU app, so entire families and friendship groups are safely monitored.

The WATCHU app has been designed to work with the WATCHUwearable phone and locator, and other smart devices for kids.

With the WATCHU Android app, parents can control their child’s device right from their smartphone. They can set up the device, add the contacts, manage Geo Zones, send text messages, track their child’s location, and call their child from the app.
