Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing EmployeeAssist Lite on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

EmployeeAssist is an app designed to make time tracking and payroll as quick and painless as possible. This lite version is intended for use by a single user, to keep track of their own logged hours. Extremely easy to use, buttons on the home screen can be tapped to punch in and punch out using the current time, and the logged hours for any date period can be fetched using the "Retrieve Data" button.

Functionality is also included to add a missed login, allowing you to fix up any times where you forgot your Android device or to use EmployeeAssist. You can also export your timesheets to an Excel file to be emailed to any address you choose. Note that you can also delete logs by retrieving them and then swiping left on that log on the timesheet screen.

The full version of EmployeeAssist will sync with an automated payroll system and is intended for use by both employee and employer.
