We had multiple issues with the app. Most was solved by going into the app settings on your phone and giving all the access needed. The last issue we had was that the internal alarm device did not work properly. Some times it did not make any sounds at all when the door bell was used. After A LOT of trying different things we found out that the problem occured when we synced a second phone to the 1 slot. I guess this was used by the internal device or something.. App has issues on Sony phone tho

I have put the EasyRing doorbell away for now. What works for me: - I could connect central unit with chiming unit. Seems to work well. - I could configure the text shown at the central unit. - I could install the app and get it to connect to the EasyRing central unit. - I could see the image from the camera on my phone. - When the button was pressed, and the app was active, the phone noticed. The problems: - The app stopped all the time if I tried to do anything like accepting a "ring". - The central unit lost WiFi connection often and became offline All in all I could not get it to work reliably on my Samsung S7, nor with my WiFi setup. The concept and the price is good, and it might be that updated software will fix it. Currently not good enough for me.
