Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Addressee Dialer on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

The Addressee Dialer app is used by Package Couriers who arrive with packages to deliver at buildings equipped with Dwellant Concierge Assistant (not available on Google Play).

Concierges at some buildings want Couriers to deliver packages in person if the Addressee is willing to take delivery.

A courier selects:

* An Apartment Number or Name
* A resident living at that Apartment (the Package Addressee)
* A Package Type e.g. dry cleaning, flowers, groceries

On pressing OK, the app dials the Addresee and reads a computer-generated message. The Addressee presses 1 if they are willing to take delivery or 2 if they are not.

The response is reflected on the list of addressees shown to the Courier:

* Addressees are shown in yellow to indicate that the phone number is being dialled
* Addressees are shown in green to indicate that the Addressee has indicated that they are willing to take delivery
* Addressees are shown in red to indicate that the Addressee has indicated that they do not wish to take delivery, or they didn't provide a response (Timeout)
