This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Myte Beacon Scan on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

The purpose of this app is demonstrating the possible uses of beacons based on Myte solutions as well as industry standard beacons. At startup he app reads a database of configured beacons from the cloud; on account of system settings, the app listens for configured beacons in the background, then triggers a specific behavior when a user approaches one of the registered beacons. Trigger distance, as well as behaviors (popup a text message, show an image, open a web page), can be set by the system administrator. The app works with iBeacon, Estimote beacons and Casambi beacons.
