This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Droid Over Wifi on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

This app provides a wireless connection to your PC / Mac / Ubuntu. It does what it says very well. It does not have those hideous ads. It doesn't nag and bicker. Just does its job and provides me the ability to transfer files without connecting a USB cable. It's free and I thank the developer teams for their efforts. Kudos and Thanks so much.

Does what it intends to do very well. You can connect the android device with any OS without need to install any app on the other system. Just a web browser and iOS, Windows, Linux or any other OS works.

truly free and best app after install and uninstall of 20 apps so far. highly recommend for data transfer between pc and phone. could be more better is supported higher speed than usual.still good work.

Excellent! I use it for tranfering files back and forth between my phone and laptops and sometimes my friend's phone (when Bluetooth is not an option). Works perfectly. There may be some quirks though but in general, it is a great app.

1. No Pro version. 2. App hasn't been updated in 5 years 3. Biggest issue - Doesn't let users transfer files to external SD card.

Good in its day BUT..... It can be forced to VIEW an inserted SD card; but it wont WRITE to that card :o(
