You are a Jal Rakshak if you are an individual or institution who, voluntarily, does water conservation or spreads awareness about it. You could be doing this in your own home, your locality, school, institution, workplace or online! The scale does not matter too – whether you impact 5 people or 5 million, whether you save 5 litres or 5 billion, you are a Jal Rakshak because you care for Water.

Through the WG & JR Network App, you can:

1) Share your achievements in water conservation. Post pictures, write details.

2) Enjoy rewards for Water Carats and Water Credits – We offer you exciting gifts, coupons and rewards too! For every 10,000 litres of annual water saving that you log in on this app, you will earn 1 Water Carat. For every 100 people you make aware about Water Conservation, you earn 1 Water Credit. Through the year, we will reach out with rewards offered to you by organizations that appreciate your contribution to water security.

3) Get felicitated for your efforts - Every World Water Day (March 22) we will felicitate Jal Rakshaks with the maximum Water Carats and Water Credits in their cities / districts.

4) Create your ward’s Water Security database – Record site information and pictures of water bodies, rainwater harvesting structures, water logging points and other potential water assets in your ward

5) Get useful tips on how to implement the FORCE 5 R’s of Water Conservation in your areas. This includes tips on how to ‘R’educe water wastage, ‘R’euse used water, ‘R’echarge Groundwater, ‘R’ecycle waste-water and show your ‘R’espect for Water.
