Digital Directory is an initiative of E-Digital Pakistan to uplift the local service providers by connecting them with customers. In today's pandemic situation, social distancing is the best way to prevent spread of the pandemic disease. The Government authorities, WHO, UNICEF, NGOs, INGOs, Civil Society Organizations, Humanitarian actors, Doctors, Scholar,s Scientist, Religious Scholars all have requested the people to observe social distancing.

This situation has affected almost every person across the globe. The business community are suffering mostly because of Government restrictions on business, their working environment, community outreach and production.

The local service providers only deals with local customers have restricted it's services to home delivery. in this way, they want to follow the Govt; SOPs while at the same sell it's product to run their businesses. This has limited it's selling and service delivery at large.

The customers on the other hand are looking for service providers who can deliver the product to their home. They are both price and health conscious to protect themselves from the diseases. however their are limitation in terms of accessibility to contact the service providers.

Google map and other social networking apps like foursquare, what's app, Facebook lack the correct and updated information about local service providers.

in order to overcome the problem of physical inaccessibility, e-digital Pakistan launch this product "Digital Directory" whereby customers can locate local service providers in the remote location who are missing from the digital radar and they can contact them instantly through widely used channels of what's app, telephone.

The customer can filter the location by setting coverage area and find the best service provider. he/she can also filter the categories to locate service providers of their interest. On the other hand, the service providers will be able to promote their local business and increase their earning.

The service providers can also connect with other service providers in their locality or other locations.

The sole objective is to supplement Govt; WHO, UN, UNICEF, INGOs, NGOs efforts by raising awareness on social distancing while at the same enable the customers and service providers to fulfill their needs.
