Using BlueStacks

Being into child rehabilitation I salute the creators of this free app for its ease of use, child friendly controls, and customisable menus. This free app available in three languages fills in a gap that had existed in autism therapy for several decades. I fully recommend this to all parents who struggle with autistic children.

As a professional who works with kids who have communication difficulties, found this app really useful. Jst a small suggestion- it would be good to enable a facility to directly download an image online instantly when adding a new picture, with the other options :-)

About this app

Athuru Mithuru gives children and adults who are non-verbal or who have difficulty speaking, a voice at the tap of a picture. This customisable app is child and caregiver-friendly and helps therapists and educators bring out the maximum potential in children. While the app contains pre-programmed picture-voice combinations, the user can capture and/or upload new pictures and record voice clips as they require. Every individual users’ configurations will be stored on an external server which means the user doesn’t have to re-configure the app every time they change their device.

Athuru Mithuru is Sri Lanka’s first ever tri-lingual Assistive and Augmentative Communication app and can be downloaded for FREE on the Play Store.
