This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Speak and Hear SMS & URLPlayer on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

Title says all! I was looking for same functionality as WP8 & this has it. Had to turn off Google Now Bluetooth for this to work consistently, which is no issue since I don't use it. Developer responses to my issues and questions is what caused the 5 stars. Demo app has same functionality but I believe in supporting the developer. Buy with confidence!

This is the most complete hands free SMS and URL music program available!

Include 4 preset slots for URL's for URL player.



COMMANDS
"Speak" - First command to read text (must say before anything else.)
"Call" - Call sender.
"Cancel" - End processing text.
"Repeat" - Repeat what was spoken by the app last.
"Send" - Send what was spoken by user last.
Everything else understood is interpreted as a new text message.
If the app didn't understand what was spoken, it will repeat the last thing spoken by the app.

SMS TEXT OPTIONS:
- Speaks texts as they are received.
- Reply to text by naturally speaking your message.
- Voice commands to listen to message, send, cancel and repeat.
- Repeats voice prompts on unknown reply.

OPTIONS WHEN CONNECTING TO BLUETOOTH:
- Auto start built in URL player or 3rd party music player.
- Ignore phone silent setting for speaking texts with Bluetooth.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS:
- Autostart on phone reboot.
- Speak texts with or without Bluetooth.

NEW:
- Added sleep timer to URL Player.
- Added new buttons to home screen for quick enable/disable of
message processing and URL Player auto-start and sleep timer.

NOTES:
- Requires internet connection for Text speech functions.
- Android 6+ (Marshmallow and above) users: Must set permissions or app will crash.
