About this app
Community Alert is an instant messaging application designed for use by people in a community where everyone is his brother's keeper.
This application is intended to be used to create security awareness and help call attention of security agents for prompt intervention.
Before traveling, you can preview reported cases along your route, determine level of safety and best route to go. You will also receive live update as these cases are being treated and new ones emerge.
You'll get the best of this application if it is jointly adopted by a community. Share among yourselves and co-operate with the Police, Fire Service and Medical Emergency Service providers who are to use the Admin version of the application.
Four versions of the same application are available depending on activation: Demo Edition, Pro Edition, Corporate Edition and Administrative Edition.
The application installs by default as Demo Edition. It is free and allows the user to test and explore the features of the app. Alerts sent with the Demo Edition are not received by the Police or any response terminal(Admin). No one will take you serious in Demo Community as it is know to be a community of testers.
The Pro Edition is for the general public. Activate Pro Edition with Google pay in-app subscription or get help from a Community Alert Support Centre closest to you.
Every alert in this version is taken very seriously. No testing is permitted here. False alerts will be sanctioned with license revocation. Additional penalty by security/safety agents may apply.
Corporate Edition is for Companies, Banks, Shopping Malls, Stadiums, Motor parks, Markets, Schools, Worship centers, high profile individuals etc. In this category, more lives are at risk and call for more logistics to be put in place.
This edition has the same features of the Pro Edition except pro1 tag which is received by Security Agents.
Criminals live among us. They are our neighbors. This application promotes "know your neighbor" campaign. In this version we have added the whistle feature so you can blow the whistle if you find your neighbor to be of questionable character. You are required to be on ground to assist the response team. Your identity will be protected.
The Administrative Edition has the additional capability of managing users and broadcasting important information. This is for the use of the Security Personnel, Medical Emergency and Fire Service.
To mark alert as treated so it does not appear again, you have to be at the location. This is to ensure that the issue was truly attended to. The victim is in the position to rate response after case has been treated. After rating, alert will be automatically marked as treated and saved to database. Simply long-click alert to do this.
User's phone number will show up only to admin for security reason. Admin will be able to call when necessary. Please note that someone in distress may not be able to pick up and may disconnect if unable to speak.
There is no better way of saying something when one sees something than reporting the image itself, so we developed this capture and send solution.
If you see something, say something is the smartest image reporting design for Security Agencies. Images of suspicious activities or objects may be reported across all users of the application. It’s a data-friendly, instant image capture and broadcast solution.
All cases reported and treated by admin are saved to database for records.
Any required information can be obtained by executing queries on the database.
Such information as numbers of reported cases over a period of time and frequencies of certain crime will provide indices for planning and combat.
An online information portal is provided for Administration.
This is an international version. Please confirm if this design is applicable in your Country before you adopt it. We shall be glad to work with you and customise if desired.
